ok here's what I got from the story... Naraku shapeshifts into Inu, injures Kik. Then he puts the jewel back in the temple where Inu goes to get it to become human. Kik who thinks that he just wanted the jewel to become full demon attacks him with the last bit of her strength and pins him to a tree with an arrow. Kik then asks Kaede to burn the jewel with her so that it will never harm the world again... so is that what happened or what? because i'm confused...  |

i dont know. thats most of it i think. see what naraku did kinda confused me... my sis prolly knows... ill ask her when she gets home form work because she reads like the manga (i do to but i dont really pay attention lol)...

okay my sis' explanation: here's how i think it goes... Onigumo wanted to corrupt Kikyo (don't ask why. as that is another explanation in itself) but because he wasn't able to move, he let a whole hord of demons take over his body, thus becoming Naraku. Once he became Naraku, he disired the Shikon no Tama, but the jewel was pure from being in Kikyo's posession and therefore was not as powerful as he would like it to be. So he decided that he would fulfill Onigumo's wish and gain the corrupted jewel in one stroke. To do this, Naraku observed the love between Inuyasha and Kikyo. The way to fully corrupt the jewel was to turn the great love that they shared into an equally great hate. So Naraku discovered the day when Kikyo was to give the jewel to Inuyasha to make him a human, and he chose that day to strike, as it was a day full of trust that he wished to break. Thus making the corruption of the jewel just a little more complete. Naraku assumed Inuyasha's form to meet Kikyo and appear to betray her, saying that he (as Inuyasha) wanted to become a full demon and that Kikyo had been a fool to believe in him. Then he left Kikyo, nearly dead, and went to replace the jewel in the village. Then he went to meet Inuyasha who was on his way to meet Kikyo. This time Naraku assumed Kikyo's form and hid in the trees until Inuyasha went by. Then she (Naraku in Kikyo's form) shot an arrow at Inuyasha, making him think that Kikyo was betraying him and only promised the jewel so that she could kill him. Inuyasha felt betrayed, so he decided that he would go after the jewel which was now in the village so that he could become a full demon like he wanted to before. So he attacked the village and took the jewel. After stealing the jewel Inuyasha runs through the clearing with the Goshinboku tree and the terminally wounded Kikyo sees him and shoots him with her sacred arrow. So the jewel took in the hatred of Kikyo and Inuyasha and Naraku's plan was almost complete, all he needed was for Kikyo to value her life so much that she would wish on the Shikon for her life, finishing the corruption of the jewel. But Kikyo died and had the jewel burned with her body and Naraku's plan was destroyed. so to summarize: Naraku wants corrupted jewel, become Inu to trick Kik, takes jewel to village, becomes Kik to trick Inu, Inu takes jewel from Village, Kik shoots Inu, Kik dies and has jewel burned with her body, Nar angry. I have decided that my sister will become the FAQ person for InuYasha. Or if there are questions on like video games then we can try to help with the ones we know. sound good? oh and my sis typed that thing up there ^^^^^^^^ it took about half an hour lol.  I will make a board for questions on anything from anime to video games to books (only if we know the books lol). If anyone else wants to heolp with the FAQ please send PM me. cuz i would love to have more people on it so that in case me or my sis or bro dont know the answer we can look elsewhere for answers.
